Description: Cartilage Inc. is looking for a part-time Technician. The Technician will perform studies in cartilage tissue engineering, described in existing grant funding, under the supervision of the grant Principal Investigators. Cartilage Inc. is seeking qualified candidates with experience in cell/tissue culture and basic cell biology practices, including sterile and aseptic techniques.
This position requires at least two years of university study in Biomedical Engineering. Other acceptable fields of study include Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biology. Applicants must be available to work on-site (Calit2 building, UCI campus) between the hours of 8 am – 5pm.
The initial appointment is part-time (20 hours/week). A full-time position may be available based on job performance and availability of support. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
